• The YMCA has been serving the South Wood County area since 1957
• No one is turned away from the YMCA for the inability to pay
• The YMCA offers over 100 programs from toddler age through active older adults
• Last year over 1,400 youth participated in YMCA swimming lessons
• Over 14,000 individuals participated in YMCA programs in 2002
• The YMCA runs 8 before and after school program sites serving over 200 families in the South Wood County area
• YMCA Camp Alexander allows over 500 youth each summer the opportunity to experience the joys of camp
