Archery

Archery

Learn to shoot straight and safe at Camp Alexander’s archery range. Beginners and experienced shooters are encouraged to participate. Sharpen those skills or learn a new one! Archers will be provided with all necessary equipment but are welcome to bring their own bow.

Flag Football

Flag Football

Boys and girls are introduced to the fundamentals of the game while having fun with other kids their age. Players are led by Y-staff and volunteers in drills and games that teach the basic offensive and defensive skills and positions of football. Each child receives a t-shirt and mouth guard. Schedule consists of one practice day and 5 game days. All practices and games are held on the South Wood County YMCA sports field.

Homeschool Gym & Swim

HomeSchool Gym & Swim

Be active and make new friends!

This Homeschool Gym & Swim program is designed for homeschool students of ages 6+ years old. We will explore fun games and activities in the gym and swim in the pool each class.

Soccer

This program is designed for boys and girls to learn the basic skills of the sport. The 1st week will be a one hour practice. The next 3 weeks will be a 30 minute practice followed by a 30 minute scrimmage. Teams will mix up each week so kids get a chance to play with different players. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes. No cleats are allowed in the gym.

A fun way to play Pickleball with friends, members and family in a safe and healthy environment. Pickleball nets and balls will be available.
