Through our Membership For All Program, the South Wood County YMCA provides assistance to youth,
adult and families based on individual needs and circumstances.

Halloween at the Y

Come bring the whole family down for our Halloween Family Fun Night!

Evening activities include: Games with Prizes, Costume Contest, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Photo Booth, Kid-Friendly Haunted House (5:30-7:30pm)

Lifeguard Certification Course

Prerequisites: Participants must be at least 15 years old, able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes (legs only), surface dive to a 9-foot depth and carry a 10-pound weight 20 yards.

Training Details: Online coursework prior to classroom, prerequisite swim skill test, classroom hours with written test, & water training skills

Age:  15+
Mandatory Training Dates: Nov. 8th 5-9pm, Nov. 9th 9am-5pm, & Nov. 10th 9am-5pm
Fee: Member $230 | Non-Member $280

*If hired on by SWC YMCA, fees can be reimbursed.

*EVERY SESSION MUST BE ATTENDED IN FULL! NO EXCEPTIONS.

Join the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who for a pancake breakfast, games, pictures, letters to Santa, cookie decorating and holiday spirit!

Mindful Eating For a Healthier You

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to eat mindfully for better health with specific emphasis on commor areas of health concern. Each class will begin with 20-30 minutes of information, then we will work together to make and enjoy dinner.

Classes offered at the South Wood County YMCA 3rd Thursday of the month from 5:00-6:30pm.
