YMCA youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and mutual respect for others.

Program Descriptions
Advanced Volleyball Clinics (Grades 7-12)
6:00pm – 8:00pm Thursdays | October 26th & November 2nd (2 days)
These two clinics are designed for youth in grades 7-12 who are preparing for competitive club season. This is NOT a beginner class. Youth will learn proper techniques of passing, setting, serving, hitting, blocking and defense. Come ready to work hard and take your game to the next level. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes. Knee pads are optional.
MICRO SPORTS (ages 3-5)
Basketball
4:30pm – 5:15pm (Mondays) | October 23 – November 17th
Parent/guardian participation is REQUIRED. Youth will learn the basic skills of basketball through drills and games. Parent/guardian will have fun being their child’s partner for activities. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes.
Soccer
4:30pm – 5:15pm (Tuesdays) | October 23 – November 17th
– NO SOCCER ON Oct. 31st – Class is extended through Nov. 21st
Parent/guardian participation is REQUIRED. Youth will learn the basic skills of soccer through drills and games. Parent/guardian will have fun being their child’s partner for activities. Soccer will be indoors at the SWC YMCA gymnasium. No cleats allowed.
T-ball
4:30pm – 5:15pm (Wednesdays) | October 23 – November 17th
Parent/guardian participation is REQUIRED. Youth will learn the basic skills of t-ball – throwing, catching, batting and running. Parent/guardian will have fun being their child’s partner for activities. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes.
Multi-Sports Clinics (Grades 3-5)
4:30pm – 5:30pm (Thursdays) | October 26th – November 16th
These clinics are designed for youth in grades 3-5. Coaches will teach the basic skills of each sport through drills and games. Youth will have fun playing basketball, soccer, floor hockey, dodgeball, capture the flag and more. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes.
SPORTS Clinics (Grades K-2)
Basketball
5:30pm – 6:30pm (Mondays) | October 23 – November 17th
These clinics are designed for youth in grades K-2. Coaches will teach the basic skills of basketball through drills and games. Youth will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot and play defense. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes.
Soccer
5:30pm – 6:30pm (Tuesdays) | October 23 – November 17th

These clinics are designed for youth in grades K-2. Coaches will teach the basic skills of t-ball through drills and games. Youth will learn how to throw, catch, hit and run the bases. We will be using wiffle balls and bats as the program is indoor in the gymnasium. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes.
OPEN PICKLEBALL
Monday – Friday 10:00am- 1:00pm
Wednesday 6:30pm – 8:00pm
A fun way to play Pickleball with friends, members and family in a safe and healthy environment. Pickleball nets and balls will be available.
