YMCA youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and mutual respect for others.

Program Descriptions
ARCHERY LESSONS FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS
Will teach concentration, focus, confidence in a fun learning environment. Bows and arrows provided. Wear athletic clothes and bring a water bottle.
CO-ED SOCCER LEAGUE
This is a great co-ed recreation soccer league for those 16 years of age or older, and all skill levels. The main emphasis of the league is the recreational elements including fun, enjoyment, good sportsmanship, and friendships. Players must register individually. This program is offered at our Port Edwards location.
FAMILY YOGA
Fun and flexibility for the whole family! Work through foundational yoga poses and sequences that build connection between yourself and family. *Weather permitting, Family Yoga will be held on the sports field, next to the Y.
MICRO SPORTS
5-Week program for kids 3-6/parent participation required. Each week covers a different sport. T-ball, soccer, flag football, kickball and more.
OPEN PICKLEBALL
A fun way to play Pickleball with friends, members and family in a safe and healthy environment. Pickleball nets and balls will be available.
SUMMER PICKLEBALL CLINIC SERIES
BEGINNERS will learn the basics of Pickleball: How to hold a paddle, hit a variety of shots, serve, move on the court and basic rules.
INTERMEDIATE will learn about advance play, court positioning and techniques. The first 90 minutes is the clinic and last 30 minutes are game play. Game play gives you a chance to put what you learned into practice while instructors give you feedback.
YOGA AT CAMP
Take your yoga experience outdoors at Camp Alexander. This vinyasa flow class will connect you to your breath and movements while being immersed in nature. Expect sun salutations, warrior sequencing, balance and time to reflect and relax in deeper seated poses. Mats available for use.
YOUTH SPEED AND AGILITY
We believe the key factors to developing skills as a young athlete are proper knowledge and practice of strength, agility, speed, and mobility. In this athlete-focused program, we will explore the many benefits of dynamic warm-up, injury prevention, muscular power and range of motion. We will also highlight the importance of nutrition as fuel, adequate hydration and recovery.
