ROOKIE BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Grades 4K-6th Rookie Basketball League will run January 8th – February 26th. During this seven-week developmental basketball program, players will learn sportsmanship, strengthen skills, run drills and play games. Game schedules and rosters will be available at the first Saturday of the program.

This program will focus on teaching kids the rules, sportsmanship, and skills necessary to play floor hockey. Floor hockey is one of the most popular units, the kids love to play the sport. The program will provide an enjoyable atmosphere and will cover the fundamentals and strategies of the game.
LITTLE HOOPERS BASKETBALL CLINIC
This coed program is specifically designed for the young basketball fan. Participants will learn the basic skills and techniques with emphasis placed on social development and participation. Parents are encouraged to assist with station work.
HOOPERS BASKETALL CLINIC
This is a great choice when you are looking for fun basketball drills, passing drills, relays, shooting games for basketball beginners or anyone who enjoys the game of basketball. It will help players learn the basic fundamentals skills along with teaching the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
ROOKIE BASKETBALL LEAGUE
This 8-week basketball League will put your child in the game with youth their age/skill level as they learn sportsmanship, develop their skills and gain a sense of accomplishment, no matter the outcome of the game. Through organized instruction by volunteer coaches and referees youth will enjoy play in non-competitive games.
ROOKIE FLAG FOOTBALL
A great introduction program to the game of football. Players will have fun learning basic skills, using a Nerf football, while learning sportsmanship & teamwork. Parents are encouraged to coach/assist as this is an instructional environment.
YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL
This classic and beloved program will take place beginning in September and we are pleased to announce that games on Saturday morning will be played at South Wood County YMCA on our new sports field!
Kickball provides a game that is easy to learn and fun to play! The game helps kids develop physically, mentally and socially. Kids will develop characteristics for positive sportsmanship and teamwork. Kickball teams are split up based on how many player there are. Everyone gets the same amount of playing time as every other player, with the emphasis being fun!
Outdoor soccer bunnies allow you as a parent to participate along with your child outside on the YMCA New sports field. The program will teach you as a parent how to properly teach your child the basic skills of soccer.
This enjoyable sport certainly is for everyone. This program will allow each participant the opportunity to learn the basic skills and fundamentals of soccer. Each player can grow not only in the area of athleticism and individual soccer skills, but in developing ideas of the actual game of soccer itself such as teamwork, strategies and more.
T-Ball is a great way for kids to learn T-Ball in a safe and healthy environment. The program focuses on teaching rules, sportsmanship and skills necessary to play. Parents are encouraged to participate alongside their child.
Participants will have fun learning the fundamentals of the game. When you are learning the game of volleyball, it is important you start with some basic volleyball drills for beginners. This class will work on improving Passing, setting, hitting, and serving the four basic skills everyone needs to know too be successful in the game of volleyball.
Bowling with foam bowling balls and sets of rainbow color pins open up a new spectrum of bowling activities in the gymnasium. This is perfect for kids to participate in nontraditional bowling games like-King of the hill, Scatter the pin bowling, Team war. Players will build self-confidence and self-esteem with participation in a team sport.
