YMCA youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and mutual respect for others.

PROGRAM SESSIONS

Irish Dance Program

8 Week program for adults and youth to learn to Irish dance ! Get hands on experience from an internationally decorated competitor and well known instructor Zenadia McKinney.

Adults on Mondays | 6:30- 7:30pm
Youth on Wednesdays | 5:15- 6pm

Youth Strength Program

This is a 6-week program focused on educating youth on free weight exercise movement patterns, nutrition, and progressive strength programming. Led by coach Jacob Klatkiewicz, participants learn to perform exercise safely, create workout programs, and prioritize nutrition!

Mondays & Thursdays | 7am – 8am
Sept. 22nd – Oct. 30th, 2025

Flag Football

Boys and girls are introduced to the fundamentals of the game while having fun with other kids their age. Players are led by Y-staff and volunteers in drills and games that teach the basic offensive and defensive skills and positions of football. Each child receives a t-shirt and mouth guard. Schedule consists of one practice day and 5 game days.

Basketball League

This league is great for participants and coaches who want to continue working on their team play and technical skills. This program is set up for already established teams wanting to get more game time. Based on registration numbers, grades and genders may be combined.

Game days: Tuesdays or Thursdays
Game times: 4:30-7:30pm
Cost per team: $200

This program is designed for boys and girls to learn the basic skills of the sport. Teams will mix up each week so kids get a chance to play with different players. Bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothes and shoes. No cleats are allowed in the gym.
