Whether you are new to exercise or getting back to it, group exercise is a great way to get moving, make friends, and stay motivated. We have classes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

The Y offers a large variety of group exercise classes each week! All group exercise classes are included in a Y membership. Find the one that works for you, keeps you motivated and makes exercise fun!

(0)-Something for everyone, (1)-low intensity, (2)-moderate intensity, (3)-high intensity

Boot Camp (2-3)

Are you looking for an intense workout, in a short amount of time? Combining a variety of explosive exercises, both low and high impact, with a variety of equipment, allows you to challenge your cardiovascular system while building muscular strength. This 30-minute class goes by fast, but you’ll feel the effects throughout the day.

Chair Yoga (1)

Chair yoga is a great way to stretch and move the body without having to worry about balance or getting on your knees. Focusing on the breath, gentle stretches, and incorporating the chair will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Cycling (0)

This class offers all the challenges of cycling on the open road with
hills and uneven terrain. The workout is set to great music with various motivating drills throughout the class. Cycling is an excellent workout for your lower half, which is also complemented by exercising your heart! If you are looking for weight loss, this class will help burn some major calories, and it keeps you sweating from beginning to end.

Dance it Off (0)

This class is for those who love to move to music, burn calories and get that heart pumping! Movement can be both high and low impact, and the instructor breaks down the choreography so it’s easy to learn. Rediscover your love of dance and have fun!

Low-Impact Cardio (2)

This class is designed to focus mainly on your muscular strength in order to create the toned physique that you are looking for! It will offer many exercises involving body weight, dumbbells, bands and steps, which can be complemented by cardio and abdominal work. The instructors try to keep the variety and interest level high while having fun and working hard at the same time. If you are looking to tone your body’s physique, and challenge your heart, then this class is for you!

SilverSneakers (1)

Increase muscle strength and range of movement and improve activities for daily living. You’ll have a chair for seated exercises and standing support. Your instructor can modify the exercises for your fitness level.

Total Body Blast (2-3)

Just like the name says, we’re going to blast the entire body, with the use of compound movements, and exercises that can be done with either high or low intensities. Using a variety of weights, as well as body weight, you’re sure to be challenged. This class is great for the intermediate to advanced exerciser and is guaranteed to make you sweat, work hard, and increase strength.

TRX (0)

Total Resistance Training or suspension training builds a strong core, flexibility, strength, and endurance. You will use only your body weight to help improve balance, strengthen muscles and joints in order to complete challenging exercises more effectively. You can take your performance to the next level or choose to modify movements for beginners or for members with limitations. This is a great class to help improve shoulder, hip, knee and ankle strength while literally working every muscle in your body.

Yoga Flow (0)

Yoga flow is inspired by Vinyasa, which synchronizes movement with breath, flowing from one move to the next. This class will help you build strength, increase flexibility, and find focus through deep breathing. Yoga Flow is ideal for those experienced with yoga and anyone new to this exercise and interested in its benefits. Please bring a yoga mat and props if you have them.

Active Older Adult (1-2)

Similar to SilverSneakers, Wise Exercise is designed for active older adults who are looking for a great workout, and camaraderie. The class is easy on your joints and appropriate for individuals who exercise regularly, as well as those new to exercise or who may not have exercised in years. The exercises are designed to improve your strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.

Wellness Center

Both locations are equipped with state-of-the-art Wellness Centers. It’s a great place for young (11 and older) and young-at-heart to begin practicing a healthy lifestyle. Our Wellness Centers are equipped with the latest cardiovascular and strength training equipment to meet your fitness goals. Both Wellness Centers have an inviting atmosphere, are spaced appropriately and have good lighting.

Orientation & NEW Stay Fit Together

The Y offers a complimentary fitness orientation with our qualified, wellness staff for new members or for those members looking for a refresher on our equipment. This is an introduction to our cardio and strength training equipment to teach you how to use the equipment correctly and safely. Appointments can be scheduled at the Member Services desk.

Age 16+: Orientation RECOMMENDED

Age 11-15: Orientation REQUIRED

  • Once a Youth Orientation is complete, a note confirming completion will be put into the youth’s account.
  • All youth, 11-12 yrs, are required to have an adult with them at all times in the Wellness Center.

To create a welcoming and healthy family-friendly environment for all we have a few rules for our facility.

Facility: (exceptions for the pool and locker room):

  • A shirt that touches the top of your shorts or pants
  • No midriffs showing.
  • No shirts with too much cut away or too low on the sides where the naval area is exposed.
  • Shorts or pants that are mid-thigh length or have a 3″ inseam
  • Closed-toed and soft sole shoes required in the wellness center and gym

Wellness Center:

Please bring a change of shoes to avoid tracking excess dirt, water, snow, etc. Sandals or flip-flops are not allowed. Jeans are not allowed due to buckles, rivets, and zippers that can wear on the equipment.
Clothing with offensive language or graphics is prohibited. The YMCA reserves the right to define inappropriate/offensive attire.
