Families are the heart of the YMCA and are central to our community. Here families have a variety of activities available daily to stay active and build healthy connections. While in our facilities families have opportunities to grow closer together, learn a new skill, or simply recharge! Our mission in all our programs is to build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

CHILD WATCH/ ADVENTURE CENTER

Our Adventure Center is a drop in child care service for our members and families. We provide flexible child care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Allowing parents the time to catch a work out, take a class or just relax on our campus, all while having comfort in knowing their child is in a safe and fun environment. This is a Members only Benefit.

Wisconsin Rapids

Monday- Friday: 8am-1:00pm
Monday- Thursday: 3:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday: 8am-Noon

Adams

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 9am-Noon
Tuesday & Thursday: 5pm-7pm

Walking Club

Walking Club meets every Thursday 12:00-1:00pm. Walk outside until weather isn’t cooperating, then utilize the YMCA’s indoor track on the second floor. Cost is $5 per month and goes towards a monthly potluck on the last Thursday of the month.

Open Gym

The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities.

Open Pickleball

MONDAY – FRIDAY 10:00AM – 1:00PM
WEDNESDAY 6:30PM – 8:00PM

Come join the fun while meeting new friends. Pickleball is a paddle based sport that is one of the fastest growing games and is loved by many. Nets and equipment are available.

Open Pool

Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. We offer swim lessons (for all ages), family swim, competitive swimming, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment. Whether it’s learning how to swim, perfecting your stroke or staying fit, the Y has a program that’s right for you.
