At the Y, we don’t just teach swimming lessons or coach soccer. We’re about youth development: ensuring that the 9 million children and teens in our programs reach their full potential by helping them grow— physically, mentally and socially— from young children into engaged, active members of their communities.


Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities.


To bring about meaningful change, individuals need ongoing encouragement and tools. We’re here day-in and day-out to provide the resources our communities need to address the most pressing social issues: child welfare, education, employment, housing and substance abuse. We work to make sure every child, family and community has what they need to achieve their best.

AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD TRAINING | April 10, 11, and 12  Become lifeguard certified at this training session held at our Port Edwards location.
AGE – 15+
Friday, April 10 from 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday & Sunday from 9am-5pm

Recertification is available on Friday April 10 from 3:00-6:00pm.

AQUA SALSA Splash your way into shape with an invigorating low-impact aquatic exercise. Aqua Salsa gives new meaning to the idea of a refreshing workout! Classes are on Tues/Thurs from 7am – 7:45am or 7:30pm – 8:15pm —


OUTDOOR GOLF LESSONS  Take your game outside to improve your game.  Lessons are held at the Ridges Golf Course and begin on the driving range, eventually moving out onto the course.  On the last day a short tournament will be held.

HEALTHY KIDS DAY | Saturday May 9 | 9am – 1pm   SWC YMCA is proud to host “Healthy Kids Day” at our Port Edwards location!  This is a National Y initiative to improve the health and well-being of families and to help them get a jump on creating a healthier summer.

YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day will bring families in our community together to celebrate healthy living with this FREE day of interactive games, family activities, giveaways, and more!

2015 SWC YMCA TRIATHLON | Saturday June 27 | 9am | Lake Wazeecha 

Register at www.active.com or at SWC YMCA.  The triathlon is a 1/4 Mile Swim, 14.5 Mile Bike and 3.7 Mile Run.  You can compete as an individual in 6 age divisions, Clydesdale/Athena or as a team.
